Roma Bush Broad Bean (stringless edible): bush bean variety and a very good yielder. Pods are long and bright green in colour. Exceptional variety for productivity and taste as well as for the very soft consistency of green pods which, when ripe, are about 14 cm long. and wide cm. About 2.5.

Quantity

Meaty in taste and packed with fiber, this bush bean will not disappoint.

Planting Guide: After the danger of frost has dissipated, sow seeds 1" deep, 6" apart in rows about 20"-24" apart. Full sun. Water regularly to keep soil moist. Ideal for succession planting. Stakes or supports are optional.

Harvest: About 60 80 days to maturity. Average plant height is about 15"-20". Be sure to pick pods regularly to encourage added production - ripened pods will be about 4" or more in length.

Tip: Avoid handling this plant when wet as it can lead to spread of disease. Great neighbours in the garden are peppers and tomatoes.
