Oregano: is a herb from the mint, or Lamiaceae family. It has purple flowers and spade-shaped, olive-green leaves.

Oh... Oregano! Full of zesty flavour, oregano is a herb loaded with taste.

Planting Guide: Oregano can be started indoors about 6-8 weeks prior to the last seasonal frost or direct sown in the garden after the last seasonal frost and once the soil has warmed. Sow 1/2" deep in moist, well drained soil, about 10" apart and in rows about 24" apart. Full sun.Water as necessary just to moisten the soil.  Tip: Be sure to pinch some of the upper leaves once the plant is over 4" tall to encourage more production.

Harvest: Leaves can be picked once developed. Oregano is one of the most popular herbs in the garden bed as it is companion friendly to almost all vegetables.
