Chicory Grumolo Green: chicory that produces abundant broad leaves, ruffled and wavy, pale green coloured, forming a ball like head lettuce, quite compact, very heavy. Sow at different intervals to extend the harvest season. Prized for being easily preserved and its delightful texture and flavour.

Quantity

The 'rosette' of chicory, this cold-sustaining plant forms a lettuce-like head and is known for its preserving qualities and great flavour.

When: After the danger of frost is gone, Mid to late May typically, but can be planted in late summer for a fall harvest, or fall for a spring harvest due to its cold-weather hardiness.

Planting Guide: Sow 1/2" deep beneath the soil surface, about 1' apart in rows about 2' apart. Partial shade.
