Radish Chinese Mantanghong: this variety is globe-shape, green shoulder with dark pink flesh. Because of their color, they are the perfect radishes to carve into flower shapes as garnish.

One of the 'prettier' radishes and popular amidst Chinese cuisine. Also known as 'Watermelon Radish' because of its pink flesh, this radish is both crisp in texture and sweet in taste.

 

Planting Guide: Sow 1/2" deep about 4"-6" apart, in rows about 20" apart in full sun. Ideally planted in later summer or early fall. Water regularly.

 

Harvest: 60-70 days. Pull gently from the soil. Can be eaten fresh, pickled or cooked. These can also be used as decorative ornaments to a variety of dishes.
