Romanesco Zucchini: is a type of cocozelle squash, as it develops a bulbous end - zucchinis are traditionally evenly thick along their length.

Romanesco zucchini has a bit more of a nuttier taste by comparison to the traditional zucchini squash.

Planting Guide: Start indoors about 6-8 weeks prior to the last seasonal frost for transplant or direct sow outdoors after the last seasonal frost once the soil is warm. Be sure to harden prior to transplant. Sow 1" deep in moist, well drained soil about 20" apart and in rows about 40" apart. Full sun. Water regularly at the base. Mulch recommended.

Harvest: About 50 days. Pick ripened zucchini regularly to encourage more production. Ideally picked when they are 6"- 8" in length for the best flavour.
