Loaded with plenty of vitamins and chiming with taste, you can't go wrong with bell peppers in the garden!
Planting Guide: Start indoors, 6-8 weeks prior to the last seasonal frost. Sow 1/4" deep in fine, moist soil. Full sun/heat lamp recommended. Keep soil moist. Plastic wrap over containers can help speed germination. Wait until a few weeks past the last seasonal frost to transplant. Harden before placing into the garden. Full sun. Sow about 20" apart in rows 24" apart. Stakes may be helpful to support growing plants/heavier fruit.
Tip: Peppers are very finicky in the garden. Transplant must be ideal, temperatures and water also need to be in ideal balance as well.
Harvest: About 80 days - cut thr fruit from the stem with scissors or a knife.
Unfriendly Neighbour: Avoid beans or fennel - they are enemies to the core!
